Megadyne GLD ISORAN Timing Belts
Megadyne GLD ISORAN Timing Belts provided by Tranbelt are powerful rubber synchronous belts made by Megadyne. The “GLD2” profile offers much higher power capacity than RPP or Silver series, combining the strength of a gear drive with the simplicity of a belt.
These belts use a high-performance fiberglass tensile cord for excellent dimensional stability, and the belt body is made from high-grade NBR rubber for heat and oil resistance. Their teeth are covered with nylon to reduce friction and noise. The belts operate in temperatures from –25 °C to +100 °C and meet antistatic standards.
Megadyne GLD ISORAN Timing Belts provided by Tranbelt are ideal for applications requiring very high power transmission, such as conveyors, heavy automation machines, and drives previously driven by chains or gears. Using GLD belts can often reduce belt width and pulley size, saving space and weight.
