Megadyne GLD5 Timing Belts, part of the MEGASYNC™ Gold2 series, are high-performance rubber synchronous belts designed for medium- to high-torque industrial drives. Featuring a 5 mm round tooth profile (RPC), these belts are made from high-quality chloroprene rubber (NBR) reinforced with fiberglass tensile cords, providing excellent strength, dimensional stability, and resistance to elongation. The belt design ensures smooth engagement, low noise, and reliable operation in demanding industrial environments.

The GLD5 belt combines a durable rubber body with embedded fiberglass cords, giving it high fatigue resistance and long service life. The round tooth profile minimizes backlash while delivering precise, repeatable motion. A nylon fabric covers the tooth surface, reducing friction and enhancing durability, while the belt material itself offers good resistance to wear, oil, ozone, and aging.
