Megadyne SLV5 timing belts are part of the Isoran RPP Silver series, designed for synchronous drives that require more strength than standard RPP belts. They feature a 5 mm pitch (SLV5 profile) and are made from a specially formulated rubber compound reinforced with fiberglass tensile cords. This construction ensures both good flexibility and high load-carrying capacity, making SLV5 belts a powerful alternative to basic belt drives.

The SLV5 tooth design (cup-shaped / “silver” profile) provides stable and accurate engagement with low backlash, supporting precise motion control. The glass-fiber reinforcement minimizes elongation and offers excellent fatigue resistance, while the tooth-side nylon webbing reduces friction and wear. The belt can operate over a wide temperature range (from around –25 °C to +100 °C), and its antistatic properties help ensure safety and reliable performance in sensitive environments.
