PK Poly V-Belt 3.56 mm

TranBelt supplies poly-V belts (also called friction or ribbed belts) that combine the advantages of flat belts and V-belts. The PK/K series belts have longitudinal ribs that ensure high tensile strength and up to 98% power transmission, as the wedges keep the belt centered in the pulley.

Despite their high power, these belts are very flexible, making them suitable for small pulleys up to Ø45 mm, rotated drives, and compact setups. They are reinforced with fiberglass and made of durable neoprene, 4.6 mm thick, which absorbs shocks and vibrations for quieter operation. The material is oil-resistant, antistatic (ISO 1813), and works in temperatures from -25°C to +100°C.

TranBelt offers PK/K series belts with a 3.56 mm pitch and standard widths from 3 to 12 ribs, lengths from 545 to 4145 mm. More ribs mean higher tensile strength and more power transmission. These belts can be used in high-speed drives up to 55 m/sec and extreme gear ratios up to 1:40.

Common applications include hoists, elevators, pumps, compressors, wood saws, and more. Optional coatings are available to improve running properties and reduce noise.
