Megadyne SLV8 Timing Belts are part of the ISORAN Silver (RPP) series, intended for synchronous drives that demand increased strength and durability. They use a metric 8 mm pitch (8M) and are made from high-quality rubber reinforced with fiberglass tensile cords. This design delivers a robust, maintenance-free belt with very good power‑transmission capacity and flexibility.

The SLV8 belt features a round-parabolic (RPC) or deep-groove tooth profile that provides precise engagement and low backlash. The fiberglass reinforcement minimizes stretching and greatly improves fatigue life, allowing the belt to endure repeated load cycles. The tooth surface is backed by a nylon fabric, reducing friction and wear. The SLV8 can operate across a wide temperature range (–25 °C to +100 °C) and also meets antistatic standards, making it suitable for sensitive or demanding industrial environments.
